These terms cover this website of Renewable Residences, LLC. Private company. Not a government program, not your utility.

Estimates and prices

The plan on this site is an estimate: a design goal, not a quote or a guarantee. It depends on your roof, your use, your utility’s rules and the weather, and it uses today’s prices. Fixed utility charges still apply. Package prices are “from” prices for the complete system, installed, before any state incentives. Your exact price comes in a written proposal after we check your roof.

Your right to cancel

If you buy at your home, the federal FTC Cooling-Off Rule gives you until midnight of the third business day after the sale to cancel. It doesn’t cover sales made entirely by phone, mail or online. It applies to sales of $25 or more at your home and $130 or more at other places. The seller must give you a cancellation form with your contract and refund your money within 10 business days after you cancel. Texas gives you 5 business days after you sign, for any residential solar sale. In California: 3 business days for contracts signed at your home — 5 business days if you’re 65 or older. Warranties

Our work: 25 years on our installation and on the roof around it, in writing. Manufacturer warranties apply under each maker’s terms. Some — Tesla, FranklinWH, REC ProTrust — require a certified installer and product registration; ask us about it before you sign, and check the final warranty documents.
